Your privacy at Coffeerate

Coffeerate is an app for rating, reviewing and following specialty coffee. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Coffeerate, you agree to this policy.
1. Information we collect
- Account info: your email address, and (if you sign in with Google) your name and profile photo.
- Profile: your display name, avatar photo, chosen color, and tags.
- Content you create: reviews, ratings, notes, coffee details and photos you upload.
- Social activity: who you follow, your likes and comments.
- Technical data: basic session and device information needed to keep you signed in and run the service.
2. How we use your information
- To create and maintain your account and profile.
- To show your reviews, photos and activity to other users.
- To enable social features like following, likes and comments.
- To keep Coffeerate secure and prevent abuse.
We do not sell your personal data.
3. What's public
Coffeerate is a social app. Your display name, avatar, reviews, ratings, photos and follow activity are visible to other users. Your email address is never shown publicly.
4. Service providers
We rely on trusted third parties to run Coffeerate:
- Supabase — hosts our database, authentication and photo storage.
- Google — used only if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.
- Apple & Google Play — distribute the mobile app and process app installs.
These providers process data on our behalf and under their own privacy terms.
5. Your rights and choices
- Edit your profile — change your name, photo and color anytime in the app.
- Delete your account — from Profile → Delete account, or follow the steps at coffeed.app/delete-account. This permanently removes your profile, reviews, follows, likes and comments.
- Access your data — contact us and we'll help you with any request.
6. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our systems.
7. Children
Coffeerate is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation — read our Child Safety Standards.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll revise the "last updated" date above when we do.
